"When children feel valued, are encouraged to discover their own creativity and to develop their own ideas, they become unique individuals"
OFSTED is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. OFSTED inspect and regulate services, such as child care centres and preschools, which care and provide education for children. They report directly to Parliament and are independent and impartial.
OFSTED check that people, premises and the services provided are suitable to care for children and potentially vulnerable young people. Every week, OFSTED carry out hundreds of inspections and regulatory visits throughout England, and publish the results on the website.
Pre-School's Ofsted Inspection on Thursday 29th November is available to read online at www.ofsted.gov.uk (URN 423758).
Pre-School is delighted with the report as the inspector has rated our Pre-School as 'GOOD IN ALL AREA’S' with no actions! She recognised the Pre-School team ‘demonstrate a commitment to the continual development of the whole provision’
The inspector writes:-
'Staff provide a good variety of interesting and stimulating activities indoors and outside, to promote children’s good progress in all areas of learning’. ‘Staff build warm relationships with children. They know the children well and form strong bonds with each one. As a result, children demonstrate that they are happy, confident and feel secure in the pre-school’.
Thank you to Roydon Pre-School’s team of dedicated staff!
